Merced Recap

On the second to last competition, the band traveled to Golden Valley High School in Merced, California. The Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and yummy. The band performed exceptionally well taking home 1st place color guard, 1st/2nd place percussion (?), 1st place in AAAA competition. The band also took home Marching and Maneuvering Sweepstakes! Congratulations Band! Next week is the final competition in Fairfield.

Indy Recap

The band traveled to near by Independence High School on November 3rd, 2012 to compete in AAA competition. The band came and delivered a great performance on the new field at Independence. Then band captured second place overall right behind Santa Teresa High School and won the general effect and color guard captions.
It was also band homecoming and it was a great exciting event full of fun challenges for the homecoming kings and queens to compete in.

Dublin Recap: Senior Dinner 2013

On the 20th of October, the band traveled to Dublin High School to compete in its first WBA competition of the year. The band performed well as the school was still under construction. Milpitas High School placed second, right behind Santa Teresa High School, yet beating Branham.

• The band placed in second with a score of 72.4
• Percussion came in second with a score of 75
• Color Guard came in second with a score of 70
• The band took the General Effect caption which combines both musical and visual effect scores.

It was also the night of Senior Dinner. The seniors of the class of 2013 were greeted by a nice table with plenty of lights and fancy tableware. The seniors got to eat steak, chicken breast, and a variety of other foods. It was a nice dinner to reminisce about all the memories over the years. From Wicked to Escape to Veni Vidi Vici to Once Upon A Time, the journey was a fun one.
